| Description: | Analyze shop drawings to prepare part information for efficient fabrication. Prepare instruction sheets, cut lists, and material nestings using production control software. Create part shape files from drawings using computer assisted drafting software. Prepare CNC programs using plate nesting software. Prepare CNC programs using machine-manufacturer supplied CNC programming software. Compares programs to shop drawings to verify accuracy of instructions. Other light-clerical duties required to manage information flow for above duties. |
| Qualifications: | HS Diploma or Equivalent. 2 years experience processing or operating CNC equipment. Completion of a verifiable vocational training with emphasis in AutoCAD or Drafting may substitute for the direct experience.
