General Foreman

Direct the daily activities of Shop Foreman & Leadman and other production employees in the preparation, fabrication and throughput of structural steel and detail pieces according to provided drawings and detail instructions Work closely with other Plant Manager and Shop Foreman to assure adherence to schedules, efficient use of personnel and skills, production machinery and other resources Coordinate maintenance of equipment, required supplies and support activities to accomplish production and quality goalsAssure compliance with the company safety program by all employees within assigned areaAdminister collective bargaining contract provisions and Company policies as needed and work to develop skills of assigned employees.

High school diploma or equivalent and 5  years of directly related work experience in structural steel fabrication with at least one year of experience in a shop supervisory capacity.
