|Description:||Develop and implement a compliance and diversity program that ensures adherence to OFCCP regulations for federally funded government projects. Oversee and manage the process flow of communication and administrative functions as they relate to the Schuff Steel Compliance/Diversity Program.|
Develop, implement and administer strategies, procedures and guidelines that will help the company fulfill contractual obligations in the area of OFCCP compliance.
Work closely with inter departments to coordinate process flows.
Work closely with general contractors on job requirements specific to affirmative action compliance.
Provide training to inter departments on process flow and responsibilities.
Represent company at compliance meetings and audit conferences.
Develop relationships with community organizations to increase affirmative action awareness.
Maintain correspondence with OFCCP liaisons as they relate to continuous education.
Coordinate MBE/WBE/DBE relationships for bid solicitations and approved vendor list.
Provide statistical reports and update reviews to Sr. Management on compliance matters.
Review contractual language and provide recommendations to Sr. Management on critical matters relating to complianceWork with company sub contractors as point of contact on informational guidance.
Experience, Education & Training:
Minimal four (4) years related experience within the general construction industry along with a Bachelors Degree from accredited college/university; Minimum of seven (7) years experience without Bachelors Degree.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
General understanding of construction related contracts; Expertise knowledge in OFCCP rules and regulations; Knowledge of Davis Bacon and Related Acts; Knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act; Knowledge of general construction contract language; Knowledge of construction process from pre-bid to closeout; Knowledge of best practices as they related to government compliance; Ability to review and interpret complex federal statues and ordinances; Ability to review and compile statistical reports; Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining stringent deadlines; Ability to facilitate departmental meetings and on going training sessions (via face to face and through the web); Ability to layout and produce a formal written procedural plan with process flows.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
